Eastern Iowa Hit By Golf Ball Sized Hail

Last night, a small but mighty storm system, which brought some high winds and a crap load of golf ball sized hail.

Damage was seen across the city, from cracked windshields, to dented siding.

One listener sent in pictures of her discovery of a broken sunroof this morning.

The sizes varied from marble to golf ball, and some even look as big as a youth baseball.

Goose's yard took a beating too, but his looked kind of banana shaped. I've never seen anything like it, but I'm thinking it must have caused a lot of damage with the shape of them.

That Goose.... he's a funny guy. It reminded us of that time someone pulled one over on KCRG out of Cedar Rapids.
