A transformation is taking place this weekend at the BEND XPO in East Moline. New cars from nearly every manufacturer are on display for the curious car buyer, the tire kickers and EV Skeptics.
There's a hands-on display for kids, an animal petting corral from Subaru, mini test-track, Buick's March Madness Pop-a-Shot, and a NASCAR simulator.
And the real stars here are the brand new cars. The future of the business, and America to some degree, is represented by these shiny new rides. Expect big attention to the new Ford F-150 Lightning EV, the Mustang Mach E, and KIA's EV as drivers consider the best way to get from here to there. Hybrids, too, from Honda and Chevrolet.
There's a nod to the past with some Quad Cities' proud Velie autos quietly on display from the early 1900s, and The Midwest Corvette Club with a history of the iconic brand.
There's plenty of power on hand at this year's show, for work, and for play. Ram brought Hemi and Diesel-powered work trucks along with pickups to bring you off-road and safely back. The mid-size pickup is well represented, with Ford, Chevy, and Honda each with newly designed and updated models. The revised and remodeled Jeep Wagoneer is back--in its new size to fit The Jolly Green Giant and his family.
Ford is overcoming the early distribution problems with the new Full-Size Bronco, and you can get up close and personal with it, along with its stable-mate Bronco Sport.
For sheer fun on the roads, Chevy is bringing back the Camaro convertible, the Civic Type R, Mustang, and BMW 3-Series also had a drop-top.
Maserati, Bentley, Audi, Mercedes are all represented this year at the BEND XPO in E. Moline. Come find your future this weekend. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, doors open at 10AM. $10 admission for Adults, Senior Citizens $5, and Kids 12 and under get in free.
We've got a chance for you to win your own tickets, which you can find out more about after the photos below.
