[PHOTOS]: Beasto Blanco Kicks Off American Tour At Rascals Moline
A show performed by Beasto Blanco isn't so much a concert as it is a kind of possessed revival. That revival began a tour stateside at Rascals Live in Moline on Monday, July 25th.
The brainchild of guitarists Chuck Garrick, Chris "Brother" Latham, and searing vocalist Calico Cooper in 2012, this collection of Rock veterans hit the stage looking part grave robber, part corpse, and all adrenaline. Crowd favorites Grind and Death Rattle played seamlessly with material from their first record as they stalked the Rascals stage.
The energy and showmanship of Beasto Blanco played to an intimate crowd of about 200 fans Monday, fresh off their jaunt through Europe rockin' stadiums of thousands of rabid Beasts. They will continue with shows in the midwest and east coast in the coming weeks.
Jan LeGrow and Tim Husung complete the lineup that's worth driving a few hours to see, even if it means a slightly groggy workday morning.
From last night's show, and the eye of concert photographer Mark Detl, here's a taste of The BEAST!
