Years ago, Paul Stanley told us he was working on a soul record, and hearing this reminds me of the days when you got your tunes from a blowtorch AM radio station (For me, WLS, the big 89) where you could hear some great soul masters practicing their craft, and on the other side of the commercial break, it's all come full circle.

He's released a few singles here and there as breadcrumbs to lead us to the release of the album this Friday, March 5th.

This entire album promises to unlock some deeply seated memories.

I can remember listening to this song as I rode to school in the mornings, the warm air of an almost summer morning blowing through the windows.

It's impressive that Paul can still sing, but I don't think anyone could guess it was him if you played Heaven's on Fire before you played either of these songs.
