Pat Travers Returns to the Davenport on Thursday
Pat Travers returns to the Redstone Room next Thursday, October 14, 2021 with Far Out 283.
Can't wait to see him play his classics songs live like "Boom Boom (Out Go The Lights)", and my favorite "Snorting Whiskey".
The catchy guitar riff and energetic drums make it perfect for turning up loud in your car. This song will get your heart pumping and make you want to drive around all day with your windows down. Boom Boom (Out Go The Lights) in particular is a great memory of my first days in radio. I would play this great tune (the live version of course) on 97X in the late 90's when ever I would get a request for it. It usually came from a super drunk guy sitting in his kitchen drinkin some beer and calling the station for some company.
To which I obliged.
There are certain tunes that I attribute to 97X specifically. Pat Travers songs along with "Rock & Roll Party in the Streets" by Axe, and Lynn Allen's "Last Night".
Concerts are special events, which makes them something to remember for a lifetime. Each song is an exciting milestone in your memory, and attending your favorite artist’s live show is an experience that will stay with you forever. Not only that, but seeing your favorite act perform live also gives you an opportunity to get closer than ever to music you love. Make sure to relish every moment at your next concert!
It's hard to describe just how exciting it can be to watch your favorite artist play live, especially if you're at one of their first few shows. And while listening to music live is always amazing, there are some things that you can only truly appreciate if you've been there and experienced it first-hand.
