Pat Travers got his start playing in clubs in Quebec, where he was noticed by Ronnie Hawkins. Soon after, he signed on with Polydor in London, with his self titled album debuting in 1976.
A few years later, and a few musician rotations in the band, he released the live album Live! Go For What You Know which rose to the Top 40 in the US, and included his biggest song, Boom Boom (Out Go The Lights).
You can catch The Pat Travers Band in the Redstone Room on July 27th, and tickets are on sale now through the Common Chord website.
