Outback Steakhouse in Davenport Closing Sunday

Outback Steakhouse on Kimberly Road in Davenport will close it's doors for good on Sunday, after 24 years of business.

57 employees will be given a severance package. The Outback location opened 24 years ago in 1995.

The media director of Outback's parent company, Bloomin' Brands, Inc. said that the decision was based solely on business circumstances. The company said it may put itself up for sale as well.

The building was put up for sale on October 29, for $1,030,000.
