Three C's Diner in Corning has won the title of Best Pork Tenderloin in Iowa, but a place closer to home was one of the runners-up.

The Iowa Pork Producers Association took nominations earlier this year to find who has the best breaded pork tenderloin in the state. 2018's winner goes through about 120 pounds 2.5 to 3-inch thick tenderloins a week. The winning tenderloins are dipped in egg and hand-breaded with secret spices.

Whatcha Smokin' BBQ & Brew in Luther took the second place spot. Included in the top five is our very own Stout's Irish Pub & Grill in Clinton. Here's hoping they can take the top spot next year.

Out of the 1,594 nominations they received, the IPPA has created the Tenderloin Trail out of the best sandwiches. Check it out if you want to take a road trip:
