Officers Investigating After Vehicle Strikes People, Taco Bell
On March 31st, police had to respond to a Taco Bell in Maryland because of a reported assault on multiple employees.
A preliminary investigation of the incident found that the occupants of a vehicle became upset with an employee who was working in the drive-thru. During the argument, one of the people in the car got out and assaulted the employee through the window before getting back in the vehicle.
After hitting the people standing outside, the vehicle continued through the front doors of the business.
Police (and the witness video) say the suspect backed out of the restaurant and fled the scene. Two were treated on the scene by paramedics, and one was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers were able to locate the vehicle and its occupants at a nearby house. Charges are still pending, but all of those involved will be brought to justice.
