New Band Added to Dwyer & Michaels Tribute Fest Lineup

97X TributeFest is excited to welcome a new one-night-only tribute band into the fold! GrungeBob Squarepants will give you a rockin' tribute to the music that started a movement--the godfathers of Grunge!

You might know them out in the street as Got Your Six, but on September 23rd at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, they will transport you to another time! With the help of our other bands, TributeFest 2023 is the most complete lineup ever!

We'll kick off the night with a set from our Teen-tallica lineup from QC Rock Academy and the music of Metallica, and won't stop until the last notes from The Midwest's premier AC/DC Show, Electric Shock!

It's free admission at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds Saturday, September 23rd. Any money we raise through donations, raffles and 50/50 will go directly to Seal Family Legacy, based right here in the Quad Cites, helping Gold Star Families. You'll get to hear about the great work they do, and from a Gold Star Family.

Smokin' Butts Bar-b-que will have a sandwich deal, with a portion of their proceeds being donated. We'll have Tributefest Merch for sale, courtesy of GT Sports in Eldridge, who donated the shirts, and printing, so we can give 100% of the sale from the shirts to Seal Family Legacy.

None of this would work out if we couldn't convince Bill Michaels to sit for a set behind the kit.  His one-night-only Green Day Tribute Band will do 30 minutes of your favorite Green Day songs as GREEN BAY, der hey!
