Manager of the Washington Nationals, Dave Martinez, was ejected and had to be restrained by coaching staff last night in Game 6 after a controversial call.

National Trea Turner hit the ball, which dribbled down the third base line, where Astro's Peacock snagged the ball and then threw it to first base. First baseman, Yuli Gurriel stretched for the ball and missed, the ball hitting Turner in the back of the knee. The plate umpire called Turner out for "runner interference."

Martinez was immediately out of the dugout, yelling at the umpires, but the umpire stood firm on the call, only doing a replay and maintaining his call. Once coaching staff had to come out to hold Martinez back, the umpire threw him out of the game.

MLB Chief Baseball Officer said in his post game interview, that Turner should have run in the proper lane outside the foul line, and was interfering because he ran into Gurriel's glove.
