Naked Man Came Out Of River, Attacked Homeowner, Got Shot, Returned To River, Died

There was a really weird sequence of events down in Biloxi that ended up with one man dead in a river.

The Biloxi Police Department said it received multiple calls around 8pm on May 23rd about a naked man who had emerged from the Biloxi River and was approaching homes on a residential street.

One of the homeowners who lived on the street reportedly saw the man on his doorbell camera and called his neighbor to tell him there was a naked guy on his porch. The neighbor walked outside to ask if the guy needed help, at which point the guy started attacking him.

The neighbor was armed with a gun and shot the naked guy an unspecified number of times during the attack. The attacker ended up disarming the neighbor, but then immediately retreated to the river.

The whole thing was caught on the neighbor's security system, which authorities said corroborated the story.

By the time police arrived, there was no sign of the naked guy. Search and rescue team allegedly found the naked man dead around 2am on May 24th.

The neighbor told police he was not severely injured, but police did note some lacerations and bruises on his face.
