Every parent has experienced the phase of being woken up at two in the morning to their toddler telling them they had a bad dream, or just want to lay with them. The kid is two feet tall, but somehow takes up the entire bed and seemingly dreams of winning a karate tournament against your spine.

One mom who was tired of the sleepless nights came up with a "hack" that would leave many of us with nightmares as kids.

Meagan Michelle Allen showed off her parenting hack on TikTok, which involved creating what she called a clone of herself using some hair extensions.

"When you've slept in your two year old's bed for two weeks because it's time for him to sleep in his own bed but he has separation anxiety but you really want a good night sleep so you make a 'clone' for support," she explained in text on the screen.

She figured that it'd go one of three ways:

  • The kid would wake up and see the double, think it was mom and go back to sleep.
  • The kid would wake up and try to cuddle the double, and scream bloody murder when the wig falls off.
  • Meagan herself would wake up and forget she made the creepy double, and wake up the whole neighborhood when she sees the creepy doll laying on her kid's floor.

Who knows if the kid will actually stay in bed, but this thing is just downright creepy.
