A home intruder's mugshot went viral, and now we're finding out the story behind why his scraped and bruised face looked the way it did - the home belonged to an MMA fighter who was home at the time.

Henry Rojas, the up-and-comer in the MMA world, talked with his local news station and told the story of what happened on the night of September 27th.

Rojas began the interview showing off his sick MMA moves, shadow boxing for the camera, before his interview even started.

"I don't like guns; I [wasn't] looking for a knife or nothing — just God and my hands, that's it," he said.

Rojas has been training for three years but hasn't had a professional fight yet, but told the news outlet he was home with his teenage nephew, who saw 31-year-old Austin Carasani, walk into the living room.

"He was screaming, 'Mom, call the police, someone has broken into the house," the teen's mom said.

Carasani told police “he had been drinking at a local club and was attempting to go to his friend Paul’s house who resides in the area” when he entered the wrong home.

Entered the wrong home indeed.

A neighbor, Andreas Gomez, said, "The guy was freezing and they started punching him in the face."

Rojas said of his decision that he was quick to jump into action to protect his nephew and his sister's home.

"It's not my first time; I don't feel pain," he said, perhaps one of the coldest lines you could say in a TV interview.

He told the news he'd do it all over again, “Protect your family. There are a lot of crazy people who don’t believe in God, who are only looking for damage,” Henny said.

Carasani remains in custody on a $20,000 bond, the news station reported, and in the news clip, showed a judge reading a home invasion charge to him.
