Micro Brew Mile & 6K Road Race Goes Virtual
The Micro Brew Mile & 6K Road Race has decided to celebrate their 7th race online. Normally runners & beer lovers join together in Moline to race and have a delicious beer (or 2 or 3 or 4 or) after. But with the COVID restrictions, they are innovating and expanding the race to you where ever you are.
Are you a treadmill runner? Prefer the trails? Maybe you just like to do a couple laps around your neighborhood. However you run or walk you can register for the 1 mile or 6K (3.72 miles) virtual race.
It is important that we continue to stay active, motivated, and achieve those goals during these trying times! We will continue to raise funds for our four great local charities, The Children's Therapy Center of the Quad Cities, Mississippi Bend Trykes, The Chris VanSpeybroeck Memorial Scholarship, and the Peaceful Palate.
You receive a commemorative shirt, bib, and medal after completing your race!
All you'll need to do is register and submit your times/pictures of you running/walking/jogging before, during or after your run and be entered in to their drawings for some sweet door prizes!
Register anytime and you will have until June 30th at midnight to submit your results. By submitting your results, you will be eligible for one of the 20 prizes to be randomly drawn from the pool of finishers.
These prizes include comped entries to upcoming local races, hoodies, trucker and winter hats, and much more!
