Metallica starts a 4 week run at number 1… back in 1991

I don't know how this is even possible, but the "black" album is already 30 years old!  The 1991 release started blowing up the charts 30 years ago.  For many, this was the album that introduced them to Metallica.  For some of us, they were on our radar for a while.  (I mean common, And Justice for All, Master of Puppets, and Ride the Lightning... wow those were all masterpieces, really cutting edge stuff man)

Anyway, we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of "the black" album today on the triple shot.  Make sure to tune in on Classic Rock 97X.
