A guy armed with a knife tried to sneak into a jail in Los Angeles last week using a fake FBI badge. Authorities arrested him instead and booked him into the same jail he was trying to sneak into.

28-year-old Greg Baghoomian walked into the Inmate Reception Center of a Los Angeles County jail and flashed an FBI badge to try and gain entry to the facility. Deputies stopped him and asked to see his credentials.

That's when Bahoomian ran away and went to the facility across the street. There he was detained until deputies could recover him.

The fake FBI agent had a large fixed blade knife, two Taser devices, gloves and a false FBI credential. Baghoomian was arrested on suspicion of bringing a deadly weapon inside a jail facility and impersonating a peace officer.

The placed him into the same jail he was trying to sneak into.
