Man Shot By Woman While Showing Off Gun in Whataburger Drive-Thru

A man was shot in the drive-thru of a popular fast-food burger chain in what police are saying was an accident.

The shooting happened at the Whataburger on Autry Pond in San Antonio, Texas around 3am yesterday.

Officers say the victim was showing off a gun to a woman in the drive-thru of the restaurant, probably trying to impress her with his shiny, fancy gun. The woman was handling the gun when it went off and shot the man in the arm, according to officers.

When officials arrived on scene, they transported him to the Brooke Army Medical Center in stable condition.

The incident is still under investigation, but yesterday morning officials said the shooting appeared to be accidental. Police also said it was possible that charges could be filed at a later date.
