Man Killed In Crash “Unavailable for Comment” According To Reporter

It's just a slip of the tongue and a missed word that got Los Angeles reporter Sara Welch thrust into the spotlight yesterday.

While scrolling through the internet on Tuesday I stumbled upon a video posted by New York Magazine’s Yashar Ali which showed a clip of the reporter.

“We tried to reach out to the man who died in this pursuit, they were unavailable for comment,” the Emmy-nominated reporter says.

Clearly she meant the family of the victim, but it would have been very impressive if the man had given a comment.
