Man Charged $1,100 Trying to Get Burger King’s 1-Cent Whopper Deal

If you haven't heard by now, Burger King has been offering a deal where you can get a Whopper for just a penny. All you have to do is order it on their app while you're at a McDonald's.

So far it's been a great deal for everyone, except for this guy.

Boyce Harvey in Los Angeles tried taking advantage of this whopper of a deal, but it wasn't working right for some reason. Instead of charging him one cent for the burger, Boyce got charged $1,093.91.

He didn't get 109,391 Whoppers either, but his bank account got overdrafted. Boyce complained to Burger King and they're working with him to figure out how he got overcharged.
