A man from Massachusetts is facing charges in Vermont after assaulting a highway worker with his big pickle.

34-year-old Christopher Herrmannsdoerfer from Williamstown was riding down the highway in the passenger side of his friend's car, when he decided to whip his big pickle out the window.

Whether it was intentional or not, Chris's big pickle whacked a 59-year-old employee of the Vermont Agency of Transformation. The worker told police Christopher's big pickle "caused him pain."

Christopher will be facing misdemeanor assault charges.

Hermannsdoerfer has a few priors, including drunk driving convictions, and even threatening to stab an EMS worker with a corkscrew.
