Man Arrested After Asking Canadian Border Agents If He Could Buy Some Weed Off Them
On Monday around 7pm, officers were called to the Canada Border Services Agency building about an impaired driver.
Kyle Shultz was accused of driving into an inspection lane before declaring he had marijuana on him. Shultz then allegedly asked a border agent if he had any pot he could buy.
Sault Police arrived on scene and took Shultz to the Police Services Building where they gave him a drug recognition evaluation. He performed poorly.
Kyle Shultz was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
He's scheduled to appear July 6 in court.
