School’s Favorite Lunch Lady Busted Selling Special Brownies To Kids
Not only was this woman serving homemade desserts, but she was also serving drugs.
A cafeteria worker in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana was arrested after she was caught selling homemade baked goods laced with marijuana to students.
The stoner kids would deem this woman 'the coolest lunch lady ever,' but the school staff and police would not say the same.
The Arrest
The woman was identified as 45-year-old Tymetrica Cohns, from Kentwood Louisiana. She has been charged with:
- Possession and distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.
- Distribution of a controlled dangerous substance in a drug-free zone.
The Incident
The incident happened at Jewel M. Sumner High School in Kentwood. Parish was not an employee of the Tangipahoa Parish School System. She was actually a substitute worker, hired by ESS, a staffing service used to place substitute employees in schools.
Parish was caught in the act after a student saw something suspicious and reported to the school's P3 app that a cafeteria worker was allegedly selling homemade edibles.

The Statements
Superintendent Melissa Stilley said, “I want to commend this student who saw something and used the P3 app to bring this threat to the attention of our school officials and law enforcement.”
Chief Jimmy Travis with the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office said, “The safety and well-being of our students are paramount. We encourage using the P3 app to report anything they feel threatens their ability to learn in a safe environment.”
