Sheriff's deputies in Marion County, Florida responded to a burglar alarm at a gas station on August 16th. Upon arrival they discovered the glass door busted and an entire case of Florida Lottery tickets missing.

Surveillance footage shows the suspect smashing his way through the front door and then making off with over $10,000 worth of lotto tickets.

The suspect, now identified as 24-year-old Christopher Sikes, was busted after he tried to redeem winning tickets at nearby locations in the county. A store clerk told him that a $1,000 ticket he tried to cash was declined and may be stolen.

The clerk had Sikes pose for a photo before he left the store. The picture was posted online and Sikes was arrested within hours. Sikes has been charged with burglary, grand theft and dealing in stolen property.
