Stolen U-Haul Chased By Police Filmed From News Chopper

UPDATE: The chase has ended and one person is in custody following the truck catching fire and the suspect fleeing on foot.

At about the 40 minute marker on the livestream below, the brake lines of the truck caught fire, and the fire builds from there.

50 minutes into the stream, the suspect slows to a stop as the truck fully engulfs in flames and he flees on foot, losing his pants and shoes as he hops multiple fences.

He appears to have been caught as he nonchalantly tried to leave the apartment complex he was hiding in, where police were able to nab him.

ORIGINAL: A reportedly stolen U-Haul truck is being chased by police in Southern California this morning, and a news chopper is following along giving updates live on Facebook.

The truck is reportedly 26-feet-long, hauling a trailer, and at this time has popped at least one tire.

Speeds are dwindling to less than 30mph as the truck is slowly losing tires.
