Common Chord's "Live At 5" Concert Series
"Live At 5" has been a staple in Downtown Davenport for years. The series features a different Quad Cities artist every Friday from 5pm-7pm, providing a platform for local musicians to showcase their talents and rock the QCA.
They've got a big show to kick things off on June 6th.
Kickoff Block Party
On June 6th, the Live At Five series will kick off with the Downtown Summer Kickoff Block Party.
Face painting, games, and fun activities for the whole family! Community partners will be on hand with fun activities and information about their summer programs.
The QC Rock Academy and 10 of Soul will provide the music for the night, but it doesn't stop there.
At 8pm, the Skybridge Courtyard will be holding a silent disco until 10pm.
Supporting Local Music
Not only does Common Chord's "Live At 5" concert series provide free entertainment for the community, but it also supports local musicians by providing a venue for them to perform and gain exposure. This not only benefits the musicians themselves, but also the Quad Cities community as a whole, by promoting a vibrant and diverse local arts scene.
