Korn Tour Bus Struck By Gunfire Overnight in Davenport
As many are well aware, nu-metal rock band Korn is scheduled to take the stage Friday night at the TaxSlayer Center. According to a new report from TMZ, their stay overnight at the Blackhawk Hotel in Downtown Davenport saw the band's bus damaged - by gunfire.
According to TMZ, the Davenport Police Department said they received a call on Friday morning for a vehicle that appeared to have been struck by gunfire. Police arrived and confirmed this was true.
Police say the bus, which was parked on the street outside the hotel, had been hit by a single bullet. The bullet pierced through the exterior wall of the bus and was found inside the cabin. Luckily, nobody was on the bus at the time of the shooting.
It's worth noting that the tour consists of Korn, Chevelle, and Code Orange, so it's not clear if the bus struck belongs specifically to Korns members or crew members, but the bus is part of the overall Korn tour.
Korn takes the stage with Chevelle and Code Orange at the TaxSlayer this evening at 6:30pm, and some tickets are still available.
