Kayaker Gets Up Close and Personal With Pod of Orcas

Brett Aho along with a group of friends took their kayaks out on the Puget Sound when he had the experience of a lifetime and as he says, "Had the poop scared out of me."

The Washington resident started recording the video above when he saw the killer whales' dorsal fins popping out of the water in the distance. “We were definitely trying to get out of their way," Brett says.

"When they popped up right next to me, it scared the crap out of me. My hands were shaking like crazy, thank you video stabilization. They really are huge, easily larger than a kayak.”
