Judge Recognized a Criminal from Middle School, Helped Turn His Life Around

49-year-old Arthur Booth was arrested in Florida last year for burglary. A video from his arraignment was in the news, because it turned out his judge went to middle school with him.

The judge's name is Mindy Glazer, and he got pretty emotional when she recognized him. He broke down in tears while she talked about how he was the nicest kid in school.

That was about ten months ago, and he's been locked up since then. But he just got out of jail this past Tuesday after he agreed to enter a drug treatment program. When he walked out, Mindy was there waiting to give him a big hug. He told the local news that she's been an inspiration for him.
