There's a new treasure hunt that's going to be drawing thousands to Michigan.

Johnny Perri read the news that someone found Forrest Fenn's treasure had been found.

The owner of J&M Jewelers in Washington Township, MI, Johnny was forced to shut down his business that he had owned for 23 years.

"Although I enjoyed being in business for myself and have been blessed serving our wonderful customers, I’ve discovered that I was never truly happy," he wrote on his new website.

Johnny and his fiancè set out on their own adventure, hiding the entire stock of his jewelry store around the state of Michigan.

In total, he's buried $1M of jewelry, all marked with an X, as well as GPS so he knows if the treasure has been discovered.

The hunt begins August 1st, when he releases the first clues on his website. the first prize up for grabs is two 100 ounces of silver worth $4200.
