JDC Golfer Hires Teenager From Twitter to Caddy For Him

The John Deere Classic kicks off this week and PGA golfers are swarming the Quad Cities. The tournament is now also a pretty sweet summer gig for a teenager.

Australian golfer Steven Bowditch is one of the pros competing in the JDC, earlier this week he took Twitter to see if any local kids wanted to be his caddy. 16-year-old named Elias Francque responded and gets to celebrate his birthday hauling clubs, he turns 17 on Friday.

According to his tweet, Elias knows the course pretty well. He's played it over 10 times, and he's caddied there for amateur tournaments before. Here's how it went down on Twitter:
