The buns, the steaks, the peanuts, the buns...oh the buns!  After months, nay, years of speculation, Texas Roadhouse will open a second location in the Quad Cities.

If you've ever been (or tried to go) to the Texas Roadhouse on 53rd in Davenport, you know this is a glorious day.  Because this should...should...lighten the number of people waiting for a table.  Or will it just expose more people to Texas Roadhouse, and you'll still be waiting for hours?

Oh the buns!

According to WQAD, the land on 34th Avenue and 36th Street will be the site of the new Texas Roadhouse.  If you look on Google Maps...it appears to be right here.  But no real address was given.

While company officials confirmed this to WQAD, they did not give a timeline for an opening date yet.  For fans of the Roadhouse, they want it now.  But, for now, they will have to patiently wait.  While they wait for a table at the Davenport location.

For those who haven't been or haven't noticed, while Texas Roadhouse still has enormous portions and free buns...oh the buns...the low prices have risen recently.

In April of 2026, national menu prices went up 1.9% to offset rising operating costs, including food inflation (6.2%) and wage/labor inflation (3.8%).
