Free Youth Jersey: It’s Kids Day At The Quad City Steamwheelers Game This Sunday
The Quad City Steamwheelers are back on their home turf this Sunday, April 26, for one of the most anticipated games of the season. The team will face off against the Jacksonville Sharks in a 3:00 p.m. kickoff, bringing fans an afternoon packed with action, energy, and family-friendly entertainment.
First 1,000 Kids Receive Free Custom Jerseys at Vibrant Family Event
The highlight of the day is Youth Jersey Night, presented by Crawford Company. The first 1,000 kids through the doors will receive a free custom Steamwheelers youth jersey, designed specifically for this event. With doors opening at 2:00 p.m., families are encouraged to arrive early to secure the popular giveaway and soak in the full game-day atmosphere.
Halftime Belongs to the Next Generation
During halftime, the spotlight will shift to a group of local young performers who recently took part in a special dance camp hosted by the Steamwheelers’ professional dance team, the Quad City Steamwheelers Deckmate Dancers.
Held just last Sunday, the camp gave kids the opportunity to learn choreography directly from the Deckmate Dancers. Now, after a week of practice and excitement, those same kids will take the field to perform in front of a live crowd, bringing their energy, confidence, and hard work to center stage.
Dance Camp #2 will be held later this Summer. Keep up to date with the Deckmate Dancers by following their Facebook Page.
More Than a Game
From the free jerseys and family-focused atmosphere to the halftime showcase and competitive matchup, Sunday’s event offers something for everyone. Fans can expect a lively crowd, engaging in-game entertainment, and the kind of high-energy environment that has made Steamwheelers games a staple in the Quad Cities.
Tickets are available now, and with a major giveaway and special performances planned, a strong turnout is expected.
