The 9 Biggest And Booziest Gifts To Buy At Costco In Eastern Iowa

There is nothing better than getting some kind of alcohol for Christmas. It's even better when that booze comes in a really, really big package. If you're a member at Costco like my wife and I are, you probably have seen some of these massive bottles, boozy advent calendars, or mini kegs of beer that would make great Christmas gifts. If you're a member at Costco in Davenport or in Coralville (the two locations closest to/in the Quad Cities), then you've probably said "holy sh*t!" a few times in the store because of certain items in the store. I said that exact thing when I saw these 9 boozy items because of how big the packaging is or the price.

On a recent shopping trip at Costco in Davenport, I found 4 red wine bottles and a bottle of Prosecco that came in 3-liter bottles. By the way, a 3-liter bottle of wine/Champagne/sparkling wine is called a Jeroboam (jer-uh-bow-um). It's a total of 4 regular bottles of wine and yeah, that's 1 more liter than a 2-liter of Pepsi you got from Papa John's when you got a 1-topping pizza for less than $10.

Last year I discovered that Costco also sells wine and beer Advent calendars. If you don't know what an Advent calendar is, it's a way to countdown to Christmas. And I know what you're thinking, "I can drink a glass of different wine or a different beer every day leading up to Christmas thanks to Costco?" The answer is yes. And If you want to get it for someone on Christmas, you could see if you can suck down all of those beers before December 26th arrives.
