The ladies are back. Back in the Final 4 and we're ready to cheer on the Iowa Hawkeyes. After a stellar win on Monday over LSU, the Iowa Hawkeyes Women's Basketball team led by Caitlin Clark will be taking on Paige Bueckers and the UConn Huskies.

If you thought Monday's thriller was exciting, mentally prepare yourself for this game. UConn is the college basketball team Caitlin Clark idolized growing up. It was one of the schools that didn't want her. Talk about a storyline.

Records, Records, and More Records

On Monday, Caitlin Clark led the Iowa Hawkeyes to a 94-87 Elite 8 win over the reigning national champions, the LSU Tigers in Albany, NY.  That game was a rematch o the 2023 NCAA Women's National Championship game where the Tigers came out on top 102-85.

Caitlin finished Monday night's win with two more records under her belt and tied for another record. She also scored 41 points and had 12 assists. She went 9-20 from behind the three-point line which tied Courtney Moses of Purdue in 2012 and Kia Nurse of UConn in 2017's records of most 3-pointers in the NCAA tourney.

Caitlin now has 140 NCAA Tournament assists which broke the record of 136 that was held by Temeka Johnson of LSU. Caitlin's first three-pointer of the game broke Diana Taurasi's record for most 3-pointers in women's NCAA Tournament history, according to ESPN.

Kate Martin and Sydney Affolter also had a night. Kate finished with 21 points and Sydney had 16. Hannah Stuelke finished the game with 8 points and Gabbie Marshall finished the game with 3.

The rematch between Iowa and LSU set a viewership record that had lasted for more than 40 years.

Disney announced that the ESPN (men's and women's) and the all-time most watched women's basketball game record had been broken. The game delivered a record 12.3 million viewers on Monday night making it the most-watched women’s college basketball game on record. Viewership peaked at 16.1 million viewers at one point in the game.

That game was ESPN’s best audience for a college basketball game, men’s or women’s, ever and ranks as the second most-watched NCAA Tournament game of 2024 so far.

Before Monday night, the most-watched women's basketball game in history dates back to 1983. That year, the women's national championship game had 11.84 million people watch USC defeat Louisiana Tech, according to Sports Media Watch. It was Cheryl Miller's first national championship win and Kim Mulkey was a junior playing for Lousiana Tech.

Mulkey has been a part of 4 of the top 5 most watched women's college basketball games in history.

How To Watch Iowa vs. UConn In The Final Four

Iowa is going back to the Final 4 for the second year in a row. Last year's Final 4 game was against South Carolina which is the last game the Gamecocks have lost.

Paige Bueckers, coach Geno Auriemma, and the UConn Huskies look to take down Iowa to have a chance to win his 12th title. But UConn has to go through Caitlin.

There's a new coffee shop in Iowa and it's the first of its kind in America. Iconic Coffee + Energy (2777 18th St) in Bettendorf, has opened in the old Jiffy Lube. After construction and making the necessary changes to the building, Iconic Coffee + Energy is now the first full-enclosed, dual drive-thru coffee shop in the U.S.
