Everything You Need To Know About The 2022 Festival Of Trees
The holiday season really begins in the Quad Cities with two events: The Lighting on the Commons and the Kwik Star Festival of Trees. This weekend, the 2022 Festival of Trees begins and there is so much holiday family fun to be had to benefit the Quad City Arts.
This Year's Theme Is Peppermint Forest
In a press release, officials from the 2022 Festival of Trees invite you to take a walk through the “Peppermint Forest” at this year’s Kwik Star Festival of Trees. Celebrating 37 years as Quad City Arts largest annual fundraiser, the holiday magic returns to the RiverCenter, from November 19 through November 27.
This year's events will feature a spectacular display of over 150 designer trees, rooms, hearth & homes, wreaths, gingerbread creations, and other holiday gift shop items that are all sold to raise money in support of arts education and local arts programs throughout the Quad Cities. All designer trees and wreaths will either be raffled at the Festival or be sold online through a mobile bidding platform.
Over 30,000 people experience the 10-day Festival of Trees each year and an additional 45,000 watch the Holiday Parade, making this event one of the largest attractions in the Quad Cities and the unofficial kick-off to the holiday season.
The fun-filled Festival of Trees event is great for all ages and will continue to feature all the familiar attractions and special events that many have come to know and love with some new twists. One of those twists includes a new floor plan design and a chance to get your photo taken in a giant inflatable snow globe.
