The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train Is Returning Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin
Nothing feels more magical during the holiday season than when the Candian Pacific-Kansas City Holiday Train rolls into town.
Not only does this amazing-looking train bring joy while spreading holiday cheer, but it also helps raise money for food banks across North America and brings some top musical talent along the way.
Once again, the CPKC Holiday Train will make a few stops in the Quad Cities area this holiday season. It will stop in Davenport, Clinton, and Muscatine on its tour across North America. These will be dates you'll want to mark on your calendar this holiday season so you don't miss holiday magic rolling through town.
2024 Holiday Train Continues Tradition Across North America
It's coming back. The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will return to eastern Iowa right at the start of the holiday season.
The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train, which began in 1999, is celebrating its 26th anniversary. Since its inception, the train has raised more than $24.3 million and over 5.3 million pounds of food for community food banks have been collected in Canada and the U.S.
The 2024 CPKC Holiday Train tours Canada and the United States beginning Nov. 21 through Dec. 17.
Professional musicians performing for free during this year's tour include James Barker Band, Clerel, Tyler Shaw, Shawnee Kish, Magic!, Sofia Camara, American Authors, KT Tunstall, Tiera Kennedy, Seaforth, Alana Springsteen, and The Lone Bellow.
CPKC Holiday Train Returning To The Quad Cities
The Holiday Train will make its traditional stops in cities throughout the Quad Cities area and Eastern Iowa. Davenport, Clinton, Muscatine, and Ottumwa are the cities where Iowans can see the magical locamotive.
