I'm pretty sure this is NOT what the average college kid would do in this situation. Most full-fledged adults wouldn't be this generous either . . .

ESPN'S "College GameDay" was in Ames, Iowa this past weekend. And as always, there were a ton of fans in the background holding up homemade signs.

One of them was a student named Carson King, who had a sign that said, "Busch Light Supply Needs Replenished." Then it listed his information, so people could Venmo him. And it worked.

Within minutes, he had hundreds of dollars in his account. And by yesterday, it was up over $5,000 and after talking to him this morning he told us that it's now over $7,000. Which could buy him a whole lot of Busch Light.

But instead of keeping the money or throwing a party, he's donating it.

He called in to a radio station in Des Moines and said he's buying one case of beer. But the rest of the money will go to the University of Iowa Children's Hospital.

He's keeping his makeshift fundraiser going the rest of the month. If you want to help out, just Venmo him at Carson-King-25. He's keeping it open until the end of the month, and in the meantime he's looking for any businesses that would like to match his donation. Anheuser-Busch.... we're looking at you.
