Rod Stewart Cancels Show At Iowa State Fair Due To Medical Issues

The Iowa State Fair is about to have a small change in its lineup after Rod Stewart had to bow out just two days before his Friday, August 14th show.

The State Fair shared the news, saying that the cancellation was due to medical issues. The fair is working to find another act to take his place for Friday night's grandstand entertainment.

Tickets for the Rod Stewart concert will be refunded to the original point of purchase. If you purchased your tickets through the Iowa State Fair’s official ticket vendor, E-Tix, your refund will be automatically issued to your original method of payment.

If you purchased your tickets from a third party, you need to contact that vendor. If you purchased your tickets with cash at the Iowa State Fair Ticket office, you have to return to the ticket office to receive your refund.

According to Variety, Rod Stewart had to have a routine coronary stent placed, and because of that, he has had to cancel a few shows.

True to being an 81-year-old, Rod's Facebook page hasn't seen a new post since the first week of July.
