A Des Moines pastor has been released after being involved in a chase with his daughter and allegedly shooting at the vehicle in which she was traveling.

The father, Rev. Michael Cameron Sr., who's a pastor at the Revival Center Church of God in Christ in Des Moines was trying to stop his daughter from getting into a fight, and that's when the chase started. He denies firing his weapon.

Cameron was charged with child endangerment, domestic abuse, and intimidation with a deadly weapon. He was released from jail Friday afternoon.

Des Moines Police Sgt. Paul Parizek said, “There are certain professions that we expect a higher standard of behavior out of, and whether it’s a teacher or a pastor or a police officer, there’s just expectations that you’re not going to do silly things like this.”
