An Iowa man has been charged for being involved with a string of burglaries in which the only thing taken seems to be hand sanitizer.

The Sioux City Police Department said they arrested 39-year-old Mark Gray after police were called about three different burglaries within a few hours.

On August 4th at 1:42am, police were called to a burglary at the Counseling & Support Services building after someone broke a window to gain entry. At the time, it didn't appear anything was missing.

Police then were called to Security National Bank around 5:15am for a broken window. The window allowed access to the lobby area. Officers found the only thing taken to be hand sanitizer.

30 minutes later, officers responded to another burglary at Trattoria Fresco.

Gray was apprehended inside the business and charged with 3 counts of 3rd Degree Burglary.
