A photo posted by the Clinton Fire Department on it's Facebook page of injured firefighter Adam Cain is being shared a lot. The photo shows Cain hanging out with his friends and posing for a picture.

The post goes on to say he's got his sense of humor, wants to hang out with the guys in the waiting room, and that he's on the road to recovery.

Cain was injured in the same fire that took the life of Lieutenant Eric Hosette. Cain had been in intensive care until Friday and at times it seemed that he might succumb to his injuries. So today's post by the Clinton Fire Department is certainly a welcome sight to those following his progress.

According to Local 4 News and Ourquadcities.com Cain has a long road to recovery and is starting physical therapy. Clinton City administrator says Cain walked about 100 feet yesterday and will start walking today as part of his therapy. He's scheduled for surgery on one of his arms Wednesday.

Brooke also told Local 4 News, "He graciously thanks everyone for their support and he can't wait to come home."

If you're a prayer person, certainly keeping Cain and his family in your prayers won't hurt. Neither will good thoughts and well wishes.
