The report, which detailed 15 specific habits considered poor etiquette in the air, also identified Iowa as another state with notably bad flying manners. Conversely, Arkansas and Alabama were praised for their residents' exemplary behavior when flying.

The study by SolitaireBliss reveals that 78% of Americans believe air travel etiquette has deteriorated over the past few years. This sentiment is reflected in the common misdemeanors observed during flights, which range from minor annoyances to outright rudeness.

  1. Putting bags on seats in the terminal.
  2. Reclining your seat on the plane without asking.
  3. Not putting your phone on airplane mode.
