Huge Turnout For Toys For Tots Run

Yesterday I got to hang out with a few hundred amazing people who took part in a ride for Toys For Tots.

For 35 years, the Abate of Iowa-Dist 15 has put together the kick-off for the USMC's toy drive for kids around the QCA.  Hundreds of Bikes strapped new toys to their bikes and rode through Davenport from the West end, downtown, up Brady St and over to the Hobby Lobby lot where the Marines were there to accept the donations.

It was a beautiful day for a ride and even though I'm not super interested in thinking about the holidays...it's never too early to start thinking about giving.

Thanks to all the kind-hearted folks who used their Sunday to give to a great cause!
