How Do You Communicate With People Who Don’t Communicate the Way You Do?
My wife and her friend were recently in an Amish community, and noticed that some horses had gotten out of their field.
When they went to knock on the door of the owners, they realized that everyone in the area was away taking care of the fields. What they found was a note telling them where to find the homeowners.
They took pictures of the horses to help identify who the owners were, but the locals wouldn't look at the phone. Do you follow the instructions to find the owners, or do you just figure someone else will take of that? How do you tell them about the horses? "They're brown I think. They have hooves, too."
