I dream of the night when I can lay down in bed and sleep like a log for eight hours straight without waking up even once.

How much is a perfect night of sleep worth? According to a new survey, $290. Most of us could only afford to do that a few times, because over the course of a year that adds up to almost $106,000.

On average, Americans get six hours and minutes of sleep per night. The survey found that we have 106 "perfect" nights of sleep and 99 terrible ones.
