You might not like to admit it, but skunks are pretty cute when they’re not spraying the area around your house with their unpleasant smelling spray.  These furry little creatures are nocturnal by nature and spend most of their time hunting at night, which means that you rarely see them out in the day unless they have made your shed their home.

There are several repellents on the market designed to scare skunks away from your property. They can be found at most garden centers. Some people swear by mothballs, but these must be placed deep in your trash bins, as curious critters will actually dig them out and consume them if they find them in shallow locations. No repellent is 100% effective; even humans have an attraction to food with good smells!

There are many advantages to hiring a company that's properly trained in dealing with nuisance wildlife. Skunks can be dangerous if they feel threatened, so they usually use non-lethal methods to capture them and move them outside of your property. The good thing is they also ensure you home is safe from other animals by sealing off any possible entry points they find. .

But that can be costly.  So, what what about trapping it yourself?  Well then, what happens when it's trapped & you have to remove it?

Here's what one guy did. He decided to "wrap him in puppy pads so he wouldn't get sprayed!" according to the video posted to Viral Hog on YouTube.
