After asking a McDonald's customer to buy him a Happy Meal and a Big Mac and being met with rejection, a man from North Dakota pulled a gun on the man who rejected him.

Responding to the Bismarck McDonald's for what police described as a "terrorizing report," police arrived to find 33-year-old George Demarrias, standing outside. Officers located a 9mm handgun, “which Demarrias had concealed in the stroller that his one-year-old daughter was seated in.”

According to a probable cause affidavit, 43-year-old Trent Guthmiller was on his break from work, headed into the McDonald's to get himself lunch, when Demarrias "asked him to buy him a Big Mac and a Happy Meal.”

Guthmiller responded by telling Demarrias allegedly followed Guthmiller into the McDonald's and pulled out a gun. Demarrias then pointed the weapon at Guthmiller and said the victim had been “disrespectful,” the affidavit states. "Demarrias proceeds to call Guthmiller a son of a bitch and tells him to f*** off before stowing the firearm back in his waistband and leaving the restaurant.”

A police review of security footage corroborated Guthmiller's version of what happened in the confrontation, which, cops say, left him “in fear for his safety as well as the safety of the surrounding bystanders.”

Demarrias was arrested and charged with a felony charge of terrorizing with a dangerous weapon. He is locked up in the Burleigh County jail on a $10,000 cash bond and has been ordered by a judge to have no contact with Guthmiller.

Demarrias's female companion, 27-year-old Elouise Flingby, was also arrested outside of the McDonald's, and she's been charged with giving the cops a false name. She plead guilty to the charge and was sentenced to 10 days in jail.
