We are happy to announce that Grand Funk Railroad is coming to the Quad Cities to play some of their biggest hits.

The Capitol Theatre announced today that Grand Funk Railroad will be performing on Thursday, February 22nd, 2024 at 7pm.

Originating in Flint, Michigan back in 1969, with number one hits sprinkled throughout the 70's, like I'm Your Captain (Closer to Home), Bad Time, Some Kind of Wonderful and of course, We're An American Band.

In 1971, a performance at New York's Shea Stadium sold out faster than the Beatles.

Over their career, Grand Funk Railroad brought 19 charted singles, 8 Top 40 hits, two Number One singles, with We’re an American Band and Locomotion. In their career, the group accumulated 13 gold and 10 platinum records with record sales in excess of 25 million copies sold worldwide.
