Ford is bringing back one of the most iconic vehicles of all time, and it just so happens to be on the birthday of the guy who made it so iconic.

The company announced on Twitter that the Bronco will be back on July 9th, which just so happens to be O.J. Simpson's Birthday.

Simpson's name and the Bronco have been synonymous with each other since June 17, 1994, when Simpson and Al Cowlings led a police chase from Orange County to Brentwood in a white Bronco.

The low speed chase remains one of the most watched moments in TV history.

Ford North America's product communications manager told the Detroit Free Press that the car's release and Simpson's birthday are "Purely coincidental," and that the release date will remain the same.
